Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi awal di kelas VII-5 SMPN 1 Bandung. Hasil observasi menunjukkan rendahnya kecerdasan interpersonal peserta didik yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran, permasalahan yang muncul diantaranya : 1) peserta didik yang kurang menghargai peserta didik lainnya, 2) kurangnya komunikasi sehat antar peserta didik, 3) kurangnya kepekaan sosial dari peserta didik. Untuk memecahkan masalah penelitian tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain model Kemmis dan McTaggart menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe team games tournament. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari satu tindakan. Pada tindakan pertama, pembelajaran dilakukan dalam dua tahap menggunakan game cerdas cermat. Tindakan pertama menunjukkan prosentase kecerdasan interpersonal sebesar 55,6%. Pada tindakan kedua, pembelajaran menggunakan game teka-teki silang. Tindakan kedua menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan ke prosentase 73,7%. Pada tindakan ketiga, pembelajaran menggunakan game benar-salah-mundur. Tindakan ketiga menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 86,2%, sebagian besar tiga indikator dari kecerdasan interpersonal menunjukkan nilai “baik” sehingga peneliti tidak melanjutkan tindakan. Adapun simpulan penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe team games tournament dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal peserta didik, saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar penelitian ini untuk menjadi tolak ukur dalam penelitian kecerdasan interpersonal dan bagi guru agar menggunakan model pembelajaran yang student center, sehingga pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan materi tersampaikan.---- The research was distributed by early observations in Class VII-5 Junior High School 1 Bandung. Observation results showed low interpersonal intelligence the student that are happening in the learning process, problems that arise are: 1) the students who are less appreciative of other, 2) lack of healthy communication between students, 3) lack of social sensitivity of the students. The research to solve the problem, researchers conducted a classroom action research with a design model Kemmis and McTaggart uses learning model cooperative learning type team games tournament. This research was carried out through three cycles each cycle consisting of a single action. In the first Act, the study was conducted in two stages using quiz game. The first Act shows the percentage of interpersonal intelligence of 55.6%. In the second action, learning using games crossword puzzles. The second Act shows a significant increase to the percentage of 73.7%. In the third Act, learning to use the right-wrong-backward games. The third Act shows an increase of 86.2%, most of the three indicators of interpersonal intelligence shows the value of "good" so that researchers do not continue the action. As for the use of cooperative learning model summary learning type teams games tournament in social studies learning can enhance interpersonal intelligence of students, suggestions for further research in order for researchers to be a benchmark in the interpersonal intelligence and research for teachers to use the student center learning model, so learning more fun and the material delivered.
