Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas model pembelajaran concept sentence untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis siswa SMA. Model concept sentence merupakan salah satu tipe dari model pembelajaran kooperatif. Dengan model ini, siswa akan diberikan kata kunci untuk membentuk kalimat. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperoleh informasi rinci mengenai: (1) tingkat keterampilan siswa dalam menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model concept sentence; (2) efektivitas model concept sentence untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis; (3) pendapat siswa terhadap model concept sentence dalam pembelajaran menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 orang siswa kelas XII-IPS 4 SMA Negeri 6 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2017/2018, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan yaitu studi pustaka, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis bahasa Perancis siswa kelas XII-IPS SMA Negeri 6 Cimahi meningkat setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan model concept sentence. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data peneliti memperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest (x) sebesar 71,3 dan rata-rata nilai posttest (y) yaitu 80,5. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest. Selanjutnya berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, peneliti memperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 7,93 dan nilai ttabel dengan taraf signifikansi 1% serta derajat kebebasan (d.b) 34 sebesar 2,72. Jadi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model concept sentence ini efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kalimat sederna bahasa Perancis. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, peneliti berharap model concept sentence dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat digunakan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Perancis di Sekolah Menengah Atas.---- This research investigates the effectiveness of the concept sentence model, one type of cooperative learning to enhance the skills of writing simple French sentence the highschool students. This research aims at 1) describing highschool student’s skills to write simple French sentences before and after using concept sentence model 2) testing the effectiveness of using concept sentence model to enhance the skills of writing simple French sentence the highschool students 3) obtaining the student’s response about concept sentence model in write simple French sentence. In this research, researcher has been using the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research are 35 students of XII-IPS 4 in first semester, school year 2017/2018 in SMA Negeri 6 Cimahi. Then the techniques to collect the data are literature review, test and questionnaires. The researcher can declare that the student’s skill to write simple French sentence has increased based on the result of this research, it’s show an average score of student’s pretest is 71,3 and the average score of the student’s posttest is 80,5. So, we can see clearly that the average score of student’s posttest is greater than the average score of student’s pretest. Based on statistical calculations, it is obtained the value of tcount is 7,93 and that obtained the value ttable with significance level 1% and the free degree (d.b) of 34 is 2,72. So, the results show that the use of concept sentence model is considered effective to improve student’s skill in writing French sentence. Through this research, it is expected that this model can be used as one of the reference materials for French language teachers to be applied on French language lesson.
