    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai peningkatan keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep gerak melingkar beraturan siswa SMA setelah diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, serta hubungan antara keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep. Pada penelitian ini, ttrategi pembelajaran inkuiri menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pra eksperimen. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep gerak melingkar beraturan yaitu instrumen tes berupa pre test dan post test. Peningkatan keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep gerak melingkar beraturan diukur berdasarkan nilai gain yang dinormalisasi dan uji hipotesis komparatif. Hubungan antara keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep diukur menggunakan uji hipotesis asosiatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep gerak melingkar beraturan setelah diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri. Selain itu hasil penelitian juga menunjukan adanya hubungan antara keterampilan literasi sains dan penguasaan konsep gerak melingkar beraturan.;---The purpose of this research was to get profile of the improvement of high school student’s scientific literacy skills and concept mastery of uniform circular motion after the implementation of inquiry-based learning strategy and the relation between scientific literacy skills and concept mastery. In this research, the implementation of inquiry-based learning used scientific approaches. The method of this research was pre-experimental method. Sample for this research was 30 students grade X in one of the high schools in Bandung. The instrument which measured the scientific literacy skills and concept mastery of uniform circular motion was pre test and post test. The improvement of scientific literacy skills and concept mastery of uniform circular motion was measured by normalized gain values and comparative hypothesis. The relation between scientific literacy skills and concept mastery was measured by associative hypothesis. The results of the research showed there is improvement of scientific literacy skills and concept mastery of uniform circular motion after the application of inquiry-based learning strategy. Beside that, the result of the research showed that there is a relation between scientific literacy skills and concept mastery.
