Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada topik sifat kimia karbohidrat dalam gula invert dan memperoleh informasi mengenai validitas LKS yang dikembangkan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini LKS dan modul praktikum, siswa SMA kelas XII, guru kimia SMA, dan dosen Departemen Pendidikan Kimia UPI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan desain penelitian yaitu pengembangan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar indikator keterampilan inkuiri dan lembar kesesuaian konsep terhadap LKS praktikum yang beredar, desain optimasi, lembar validasi LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan meliput indikator keterampilan inkuiri, kesesuaian konsep, tata bahasa, tata letak dan perwajahan, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri, pedoman jawaban siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil analisis adalah sepuluh LKS praktikum yang beredar belum memenuhi indikator keterampilan inkuiri dan kesesuaian konsep. LKS yang dikembangkan adalah percobaan mengenai sifat kimia karbohidrat yaitu gula pereduksi. Kondisi optimum dari praktikum sifat kimia karbohidrat yaitu volume larutan HCl 2 tetes, konsentrasi larutan HCl 1 M, volume larutan sukrosa 3 ml, konsentrasi larutan sukrosa 0.5%, waktu pemanasan hidrolisis 6 menit, dan volume pereaksi Fehling 1 ml. Hasil validasi pada aspek indikator keterampilan inkuiri, kesesuaian konsep, tata bahasa, tata letak dan perwajahan adalah sangat baik. Hasil validasi LKS pada aspek indikator keterampilan inkuiri (83%), aspek kesesuaian konsep (83%), aspek tata bahasa (82 %), dan aspek tata letak dan perwajahan (81%). Hasil keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri, jawaban siswa terhadap tugas-tugas pada LKS, dan respon siswa terhadap LKS adalah sangat baik. Hasil uji coba pada aspek keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri (100%), jawaban siswa terhadap tugas-tugas pada LKS (95%), dan respon siswa terhadap LKS (86%);--- The objective of this research to develop Student Laboratory Worksheet (LKS) based on guided inquiry on the topic chemical properties of carbohydrate in invert sugar and obtain information on the validity of the developed LKS. Sources of data in this study were LKS and modules practicum, high school students XII grade, high school chemistry teacher, and lecturer from Department of Chemistry Education UPI. Method of this research is descriptive with design is development. The research instrument used were inquiry skill indicator and conformity concept sheet of LKS practicum in school, optimization design, validation sheet of developed LKS practicum inquiry skill indicator, conformity concept, grammar, layout, observation sheet of inquiry stages, student answer manual, and questionnaire student response. The results of the analysis were ten LKS practicum in school has not fulfilled the indicators of inquiry skills and conformity of the concept. The developed LKS contain experiment on the chemical properties of carbohydrates is reducing sugars. The optimum conditions of the experimental were 2 drops of HCl solution, 1 M of HCl solution, 3 ml of sucrose solution, 0.5% of sucrose solution, 6 minutes hydrolysis heating time, and 1 ml of Fehling reagent. The validation results of inquiry skills indicators, conformity concept, grammar, and layout are excellent. The result of LKS validation on aspect of inquiry skill indicator (83%), aspect of conformity of concept (83%), grammatical aspect (82%), and layout aspect (81%). The results of implementations of inqury stages, students’ answer to the task in the LKS, and students’ responses to the LKS are excellent. The results of experiments on the aspects of the implementation of inquiry stages (100%), students' answers to the tasks in the LKS (95%), and student responses to LKS (86%)
