Abstract

Geographical thinking is very important for learners because it aids in further understanding of the spatial, place and environmental concepts of geography learning. Geographical thinking ability is closely related to geography lesson especially in the implementation of curriculum 2013. This study aims to identify the geographical content of thinking on basic competence on geography subjects, the implementation of scientific approach and the assessment standard that is filled with geographical thinking. This research uses descriptive method. Population and sample in this research consist of school, geography subject teacher and class X learner. Variable in this research is geographical thinking with implementation of curriculum 2013. Research instrument in the form of observation, interview, oral test, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques with descriptive statistical analysis and assessment rubric. The result of the research stated that basic competence (KD) has been loaded with geographical thinking, only basic competence (KD) basic knowledge of weak mapping on environmental indicator for geographical thinking load due to basic competence (KD) is more emphasizing spatial indicators and regional complex, with complex regional, spatial and environmental indicators already in the 5M scientific approach (questioning, analyzing, exploring, associating and communicating), but weak in the questioning step because these three indicators can not be applied directly by the learners maximally with the main findings it is found that the thinking skills of learners are categorized less, and on the assessment standards have been loaded geographical thinking there are indicators of complex areas, spatial and environment in RPP, teaching materials, and problems made by geography teacher subjects.---- Berpikir geografis sangat penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik karena membantu dalam pemahamanan lebih lanjut tentang konsep keruangan, tempat dan lingkungan pada pembelajaran geografi.Kemampuan berpikir geografis erat kaitannya dengan pelajaran geografi terutama dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi muatan berpikir geografis pada kompetensi dasar pada mata pelajaran geografi, pelaksanaan pendekatan saintifik dan standar penilaian yang bermuatan bepikir geografis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari sekolah, guru mata pelajaran geografi dan peserta didik kelas X. Variable yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah berpikir geografis dengan implementasi kurikulum 2013. Instrumen penelitian berupa observasi, wawancara, tes lisan, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan rubrik penilaian. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kompetensi dasar (KD) sudah bermuatan berpikir geografis, hanya kompetensi dasar (KD) pengetahuan dasar pemetaan lemah pada indikator kelingkungan untuk muatan berpikir geografisnya dikarenakan pada kompetensi dasar (KD) ini lebih menonjolkan indikator keruangan serta kompleks wilayah, muatan berpikir geografis dengan indikator kompleks wilayah, keruangan dan kelingkungan sudah terdapat pada langkah pendekatan saintifik 5 M (menanya, menganalisis, mengeksplorasi, mengasosiasi, dan mengkomunikasikan), namun lemah pada langkah menanya karena ketiga indikator tersebut belum bisa diaplikasikan langsung oleh peserta didik secara maksimal dengan temuan utama didapatkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir peserta didik yang dikategorikan kurang, dan pada standar penilaian sudah bermuatan berpikir geografis terdapat indikator kompleks wilayah, keruangan dan kelingkungan pada RPP, bahan ajar, dan soal-soal yang dibuat oleh guru mata pelajaran geografi.
