Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan praktik pengalaman lapangan pembelajaran dengan media konvensional menunjukan hasil belajar masih banyak yang di bawah KKM . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mekanisme katup mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Sepeda Motor dengan menggunakan alat peraga engine cutting sepeda motor. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa SMK Negeri 8 Bandung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian one group pretest posttest. Sample yang diambil adalah siswa kelas XI TSM 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan alat evaluasi dan lembar observasi keaktifan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pretest berada pada nilai 40 dan rata-rata posttest berada pada nilai 79. Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen mencapai nilai sebesar 0,64, dimana nilai tersebut termasuk kedalam kategori sedang. Tingkat keaktifan siswa ketika pembelajaran berlangsung menunjukan nilai sebesar 70%, dimana nilai tersebut masuk ke dalam kategori aktif. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran alat peraga engine cutting sepeda motor mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mekanisme katup.;---This research was conducted based on the practice of field learning experience with conventional learning media shows the results of learning are still many that under the minimum criteria (KKM). The objective of this research is to describe a student learning outcomes on the valve mechanism basic competence in Motorcycle Engine Maintenance subject by using the motorcycle engine cutting kit learning media. This research was conducted on students of SMK Negeri 8 Bandung by using one group pretest posttest design. Samples taken are students of class XI TSM 2. Data collection method is done by evaluation tools and observation sheet of student activeness. The results showed that the average pretest score was in the value of 40 and the average posttest score was in 79. The N-Gain value of the experimental class reached a value of 0.64, where the value concluded in the medium category. The student activeness level during learning process shows the value of 70%, where the value concluded into the active category. Based on the result of the research, the implementation of motorcycle engine cutting kit learning media able to improve student learning outcome on basic competence of valve mechanism
