Abstract

Anak tunarungu mengalami kesulitan jika mengingat informasi yang bersifat verbal, termasuk saat menghafal surat-surat pendek juz amma karena dalam pengucapan masih kurang jelas, tidak lengkap serta tidak lancar. Maka, dibutuhkan metode yang mengutamakan informasi melalui indra visualnya salah satunya adalah metode one day one ayat yang dibantu dengan media kartu ayat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode one day one ayat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan hafalan surat-surat pendek juz amma pada siswa tunarungu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-tes post-tes dilakukan pada enam orang siswa tunarungu tingkat SMPLB di SLBN B Garut. Penyajian data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakkan statistik non-parametrik uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, adanya peningkatan skor mulai 21 skor sampai 56 skor selama dan setelah penggunaan metode tersebut. Penggunaan metode one day one ayat terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hafalan surat dalam aspek kelengkapan ayat, kejelasan dan kelancaran. Peneliti merekomendasi dalam penggunaan metode one day one ayat harus sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah ditentukan serta dengan penggunaan media yang bersifat visual dan konkrit.----- Children with deaf have difficulties when recalling verbal information, including memorizing short surrah of juz amma because the pronunciation is still unclear, incomplete and non-fluent. So, it takes a method that prioritizes information through the visual sense one of them is one day one verse method that is assisted with the media card ayat. Research aims to determine the effect of one day one verse method to improve the ability to memorize short surrah of juz amma in students with deaf. This research method is uses quantitative experimental approach with one group pre-test post-test design done on six students deaf of SMPLB level in SLBN B Garut. The data presentation was processed and analyzed using Wilcoxon non-parametric statistics. Based on the results of the study, an increase in scores ranging from 21 scores to 56 scores during and after the use of such methods. The use of one-day one verse method proved effective in improving the memorization of surrah in the aspects of completeness, clarity and fluency. The researcher recommends that the use of the one day one method of paragraph should be in accordance with the steps that have been determined and with the use of media that is visual and concrete.
