Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi pembelajaran menulis yang masih memerlukan inovasi. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research & development Borg & Gall, yang dimofifikasi oleh Sukmadinata. yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, penyebaran angket, observasi dan penilaian produk hasil proyek pembelajaran siswa. Studi pendahuluan dan uji terbatas dilaksanakan di SMAN 3 Tualang, Siak, Provinsi Riau. Uji meluas dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Pelalawan, SMAN 2 Tambang, Kampar, dan SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) pembelajaran menulis teks berita yang berlangsung di SMAN 3 Tualang belum menggunakan model pembelajaran proyek, masih menggunakan KTSP, dan menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan. (2) Konsep pengembangan pembelajaran proyek berbasis jurnalistik dilandasi konsep dasar project based learning dan mekanisme produksi jurnalistik. (3) Pengembangan model dilaskanakan dengan memasukkan mekanisme kerja jurnalistik pada setiap langkah pembelajaran proyek (persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi). (4) Model pengembangan pembelajaran proyek berbasis jurnalistik terbukti meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita, baik pada tahap pendahuluan maupun pada tahap pengembangan melalui uji coba terbatas dan uji coba luas. (5) Siswa memberikan tanggapan positif atas pelaksanaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek jurnalistik dengan teknik penulisan feature human interest, dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita.;---This research is motivated by the learning conditions of writing still requires innovation. Research and development methods used in this study is a research & development Borg & Gall, who dimofifikasi by Sukmadinata. which consists of three stages. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, observation and assessment of student learning project products. Preliminary studies and limited testing conducted at SMAN 3 Tualang, Siak, Riau Province. Test extends Palalawan conducted at SMAN 1, SMAN 2 Tambang, Kampar, and SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The results showed (1) learning to write news text held in SMAN 3 Tualang not use the project learning model, still using SBC, and using methods lectures and assignments. (2) The concept of journalism-based learning development project is based on the basic concepts of project based learning and the mechanisms of journalistic production. (3) Development of a model dilaskanakan by incorporating the mechanism of action study journalism at each step of the project (preparation, implementation, and evaluation). (4) Model-based learning development projects proven to improve the writing skills of journalism news text, either in a preliminary stage and the stage of development through limited testing and extensive trials. (5) The students give positive feedback on the implementation of project-based learning model of journalism with writing human interest feature techniques,learning to write the report text.
