Abstract
Sociological learning is a solution to social problems. In this case the teacher of sociology acts as the spearhead of learning. Problems in research at SMA Kartika XIX-3 Bandung, especially in class XI IPS found the condition of teachers who have not used the variation of learning, where the use of conventional learning model is often a major factor for low student learning outcomes. The average student always got the score under KKM that is 72. The purpose of this study is to obtain data about preparation of teachers to design lesson plans, manage the learning process as well the improvement of students' learning outcomes using classroom action research method consist of planning, action, observation, and reflections for 3 cycles. The use of the 2013 scientific approach using Team Games Tournament model is one of the alternatives teachers can choose in guiding students to feel involved and gain hands-on experience to boost their learning outcomes. In the ability of teachers to plan learning and implement learning increases from pre cycle, cycle I to cycle III. And the end result boils down to the students' ability in understanding the increased matter, this can be seen in the results of the games in all three cycles. Acquisition of cycle I (53%) increase in cycle II that is (70%), and at cycle III (83%). Thus the application of Team Games Tournament model in Sociology learning especially on social problem matter give positive impact to improve material understanding and create effective and meaningful learning condition for students. So it can be concluded that the research conducted by researchers has been successful.----- Pembelajaran sosiologi merupakan solusi terhadap permasalahan sosial. Dalam hal ini guru sosiologi berperan sebagai ujung tombak pembelajaran. Permasalahan dalam penelitian di SMA Kartika XIX-3 Bandung, khususnya di kelas XI IPS ditemukan kondisi guru yang belum menggunakan variasi pembelajaran, dimana penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional sering menjadi faktor utama bagi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata siswa selalu mendapat nilai di bawah KKM yakni 72. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin memperoleh data tentang persiapan guru merancang rencana pembelajaran, mengelola proses pembelajaran serta peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi selama 3 siklus. Penggunaan pendekatan saintifik 2013 dengan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat dipilih guru dalam membimbing siswa agar mereka merasa terlibat dan memperoleh pengalaman langsung untuk meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Dalam kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran dan melaksanakan pembelajaran meningkat dari pra siklus, siklus I sampai siklus III. Hasil akhirnya bermuara pada kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi, ini dapat dilihat dalam hasil games di ketiga siklus. Perolehan siklus I (53%) meningkat pada siklus II yaitu (70%), dan pada siklus III (83%). Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi khususnya mengenai materi permasalahan sosial dapat memberikan dampak positif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna bagi siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian yang dilaksanakan peneliti telah berhasil.
