Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji coba seberapa besar pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe think pair and share (tps) terhadap kerjasama siswa (kuasi eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 1 Cikajang). Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-equevalent controlgroup design dengan pola “sebelum” dan “sesudah” serta dilakukan treatment pada kelas VII-A sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan VII-B sebagai kelompok kelas kontrol yang dijadikan pembanding. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (purposive sample). Pengumpulan data kerjasama siswa menggunakan angket tertutup. Setelah pengumpulan data, maka dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji hipotesis atau Uji-T. Diperoleh hasil perbedaan antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” pada kelas eksperimen yang diberikan treatment menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Pada kelas kontrol antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” yang tidak diberikan treatment juga terdapat perbedaan, tetapi bukan peningkatan melainkan adalah penurunan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe think pair and share (tps) terhadap kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.----- This study aims to test how much the influence of cooperative learning model type of think pair and share (tps) on students’ cooperation is (quasi expenmental study on social science learning grade Vll SMP N l Cikajang). This study employs non‘equevalent connolgroup design with “before and after" pattern and also is conducted treatment on grade VIl-A as experimental group. Whereas, VII-B is control group as comparison. The sample is taken by the use of purposive sample technique. The data of students' cooperation is collected using closed questionnaire. After completing the data, then it is performed a quantitative analysis through hypothesis or T-test. The results show differences between "before" and "after" in experimental group given treatment which shows significant improvement There is also a difference in control group that are not given treatment between "before" and "alter" results, namely a decrease instead of improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is influence of cooperative leaming model type of think pair and share (tps) on students' cooperation in social science learning.
