Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyak konflik antar siswa di sekolah. Konflik antar siswa sudah wajar terjadi disetiap sekolah. Setiap siswa memiliki karakter dan ciri khas yang berbeda sehingga memicu terjadinya konflik di sekolah dengan melanggar tata tertib yang sudah ditetapkan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dari konflik antar siswa di SMA Negeri Kota Bandung. Kemudian faktor penyebab konflik yang terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal, selain itu dampak positif dan negatif yang timbul dari adanya konflik antar siswa di sekolah, dan yang terakhir strategi pengendalian konflik antar siswa dengan menggunakan beberapa tahapan sebagai upaya mengatasi konflik antar siswa.penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metodestudi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pun dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari pengurus osis, siswa, dan pihak sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengendalian konflik antar siswa yang dilakukan sekolah dengan cara pendektan personal, bimbingan klasikal, menulis surat perjanjian, hingga konferensi kasus. Pengendlian tersebut dilakaukan dengan berbagai tahapan. Dalam upaya pengendalian konflik antar siswa yang dilakukan oleh sekolah terdapat kendala yang dihadapi bersumber pada siswa, orang tua, dan guru di sekolah.;---The background of this study is the numbers of conflicts occurred in school. Conflicts amongst students in school is normal in every school. Each student has different characters and characteristics which triggers conflicts that break the school's principle. The purposes of this study are to discover kinds of conflict amongst students in State Senior High School in Bandung. Then, to discover conflict factors in which separated in to two, external and internal, and also positive and negative effects caused by the conflicts occurred amongst students in school and the last one is conflict management strategies amongst students by the use of several steps as efforts to managing conflicts amongst students. This study is conducted by using qualitative approach and case study method. The data are obtained by observation, interview, and documentation study. The informant of this study is consist of students senates, students, and school stakeholders. The result of this study shows that conflict management between students in school are by personal approach, classic advisory, make a written agreement, and case conference. The conflict management were done in several steps. The problem occurred in order to managing conflict amongst students sourced from students, parents, and teachers at school.
