Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dilihat dari nilai ujian nasional SMA Negeri di kota Bandung tahun 2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner. Sampel yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di kota Bandung sebanyak 362 siswa. Instrument diuji menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu path analysis. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dan proportional random sampling. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Secara umum gambaran kompetensi guru yang mencakup kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian guru, kompetensi sosial guru, dan kompetensi profesional guru yang dipersepsikan siswa berada pada kategori sedang. (2) Kompetensi guru secara keseluruhan berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, namun tidak semua kompetensi guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, sedangkan kompetensi kepribadian dan sosial guru tidak berpengaruh besar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. (3) Motivasi belajar siswa masih pada kategori sedang, semangat dan keinginan untuk belajar yang belum dioptimalkan. (4) Sebagian besar siswa belum mengoptimalkan potensi dirinya untuk menerima dan memproses kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga siswa masih memiliki nilai dibawah kkm dan memerlukan treatment dari guru dan pengembangan potensi akademik dari pihak sekolah.;--- This research aims to look at the influence of teacher's competence and motivation towards learning the results of the study. Effected by the decrease in student learning outcomes on economic subjects, views of the value of national exam senior high school Bandung in the year 2016. The research method used i.e. surveys eksplanatori with engineering data collection through questionnaire. The sample examined are the students of class XI IPS Senior High School Bandung region as much as 362 students. Technique of data analysis used i.e. path analysis. The technique of sampling using random sampling and random proportional sampling. Research findings show that: (1) In general the description of competencies of teachers who pedagogic competence include competence social competence of personality of teachers, teachers, and professional competence of teachers who are perceived students were in the category of being. (2) the competence of teachers overall positive effect towards motivation and student learning outcomes, but not all competencies of teachers has significant effects. Pedagogic and professional competence of teachers a positive and significant effect against the results of student learning, while the social personality and competence of teachers have no effect on student learning outcomes. (3) the learning Motivation of students still in the category medium, spirit and desire for learning that has not been optimized. (4) most of the students have yet to optimize the potential for him to receive and process the activity of learning, so that students still have a value under the kkm and requires treatment of teachers and the development of academic potential from the school.
