Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum locus of control Siswa SMP Negeri 43 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pengumpul data. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan locus of control siswa SMP Negeri 43 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dengan menggunakan random sampling sebanyak 226 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki kecendrungan external locus of control yaitu sebanyak 50.89%. Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian diantaranya pada upaya mengembangkan sikap positif siswa ke arah internal locus of control, Guru Bimbingan dan konseling diharapkan mampu mengaplikasikan layanan dasar bimbingan untuk mengembangkan locus of control siswa yang telah dirancang peneliti terhadap peserta didik yang telah dirancang peneliti terhadap siswa tahun ajaran 2015/2016, dan instrumen yang telah mendapatkan izin kelayakan dapat dijadikanbahan pertimbangan untuk mengungkap kecendrungan locus of control siswa SMP Negeri 43 Bandung.;--- SMP Negeri 43 Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016). This study aims to find out the general description of locus of control Students SMP Negeri 43 Bandung Year 2015/2016. The research approach used is quantitative approach by using questionnaire as data gathering tool. The research method using descriptive method to describe the locus of control students of SMP Negeri 43 Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016, sampling technique used by using random sampling as much as 226 students. The result of the research shows that most students have external locus of control tendency that is 50.89%. Recommendations based on the results of research such as on efforts to develop a positive attitude of students to the internal locus of control, Teacher Guidance and counseling is expected to apply basic services guidance to develop the locus of control students who have designed researchers to learners who have designed researchers against 2015 / 2016, and instruments that have obtained a feasibility license can be used as consideration to reveal the tendency of locus of control students of SMP Negeri 43 Bandung.
