Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengembangan Tes Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMA Kelas XI pada Materi Hidrolisis Garam” ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang berkualitas. Kualitas suatu tes dapat dilihat dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dan validasi. Tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan berupa pilihan ganda beralasan yang diuji cobakan sebanyak dua kali dengan jumlah responden masing-masing sebanyak 36 siswa kelas XI yang telah mempelajari materi hidrolisis garam. Berdasarkan hasil uji aplikasi, tes yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan memiliki nilai validitas empiris dalam kategori sedang dan nilai reliabilitas dengan kategori tinggi yaitu 0,623. Selain itu, hasil analisis butir soal menunjukkan bahwa tes ini memiliki tingkat kesukaran dalam kategori sedang dan daya pembeda dengan kategori baik. Hasil penguasaan sub indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menunjukkan bahwa sub indikator yang paling dikuasai siswa yaitu menarik kesimpulan sesuai fakta dan yang paling tidak dikuasai yaitu mengidentifikasi atau merumuskan pertanyaan. Respon siswa terhadap tes yang dikembangkan diperoleh dari hasil data angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil data angket, secara umum tes yang dikembangkan memiliki keterbacaan yang baik dan dari hasil data wawancara, tes ini mendapat respon positif dari siswa kelompok tinggi, Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Validasi, Tes, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Hidrolisis Garam, The study entitled "Development of Critical Thinking Skills Tests 11th Grade Students on Salt Hydrolysis Topic" aims to obtain a critical thinking skills test of quality. The quality of test can be seen in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty, and distinguishing ability. The method used in this study is development and validation. The critical thinking skill test developed in the form of multiple choice of reasoned are tested twice each as many as 36 respondents who have studied salt hydrolysis topic. Based on the results of the application test, the developed test as a whole has the value of empirical validity in the medium category and reliability value with high category that is 0.623. In addition, the results of the item analysis show that this test has a degree of difficulty in the medium category and distinguish ability with good category. The result of students’ knowledge about sub-indicator of critical thinking skill shows that the sub-indicator which students understand so well is to draw conclusions based on facts and the sub-indicator which students understand so bad is identifying or formulating questions. Student responses to the test developed were obtained from the results of questionnaire data and interviews. Based on the results of the questionnaire data, in general the test developed has good legibility and from the results of interview data, this test received a positive response from high group students.
