Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan apresiasi siswa melalui model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah yaitu guru seni budaya kurang dapat mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran secara bervariasi, hal tersebut menjadikan kemampuan apresiasi siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari berkurang, serta mengakibatkan kemampuan berifikir siswa berkurang juga kretivitas siswa yang kurang baik sehingga hasil belajar siswa tidak meningkat. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari dengan diterapkannya model Think Pair Share, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-postest one group design yang mana peneliti hanya menggunakan satu kelas sebagai sampel penelitian, dengan menggunakan sampel kelas VII D sebanyak 40 orang siswa. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terjadinya peningkatan dalam kemampuan apresiasi siswa dengan dilakukannya penerapan Model Think Pair Share. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji hipotesis yang sudah dilakukan. Terlihat dari pengolahan data yang meningkat dari pretest ke posttest. t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, yaitu 23 > 1,6849. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang dilakukan peneliti, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model Think Pair Share dalam pembelajaran seni tari dapat meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi dan hasil belajar siswa. This research is done because of the problems that occur in the process of learning dance art in schools that art and culture teachers are less able to develop and implement varied learning models, it makes the ability of student appreciation in the learning of dance lessened, and resulted in students' thinking ability is also reduced student creativity which is less good so that student learning outcomes do not increase.
