Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain pembelajaran Inquiry-based Laboratory (ILAB) pada materi titrasi asam basa yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMK Farmasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Mixed Methods dengan desain penelitian Pretest-postest, Nonequivalent Control Group. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMK Farmasi di Kabupaten Sumedang sebanyak 73 siswa. Penerapan desain pembelajaran ILAB dilakukan di kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar telaah karakteristik lembar kerja siswa, lembar telaah kualitas rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar pengembangan prosedur praktikum baru, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan guru dan siswa, tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif, lembar observasi sikap kreatif, lembar observasi tindakan kreatif, angket dan pedoman wawancara. Desain pembelajaran Inquiry-based Laboratory (ILAB) pada materi titrasi asam basa yang dikembangkan berdasarkan tahapan mengidentifikasi masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, merancang eksperimen, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data dan menarik kesimpulan dinyatakan valid dan berpotensi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan desain pembelajaran ini terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Tingginya aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran ini karena desain ILAB yang bermula dari permasalahan yang kontekstual yaitu penentuan kadar zat aktif dalam obat-obatan. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa kelas kontrol. Jenis pertanyaan yang paling banyak diajukan siswa adalah pertanyaan hipotetik yaitu pertanyaan dugaan yang merupakan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Sikap kreatif ditunjukan oleh siswa dengan baik, ditandai dengan banyaknya pertanyaan yang siswa ajukan pada saat pembelajaran. Tindakan kreatif siswa paling tinggi pada tahap persiapan praktikum, karena pada tahap ini siswa merancang percoban dan menyiapkan sampel uji dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap desain pembelajaran ILAB, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil dari kuesioner dan wawancara. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran kontekstual, inquiry-based laboratory, titrasi asam basa, kreativitas, berpikir kreatif, sikap kreatif, tindakan kreatif;--- This study aims to produce Inquiry-based Laboratory (ILAB) learning design on acid-base titration that can improve Pharmaceuticals Vocational High School students' creativity. The method used in this research is mixed methods with Pretest-Posttest, Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research participants are 73 students of class XI from pharmaceutical high school in Sumedang Indonesia. Inquiry-based laboratory applications were conducted in the experimental group, and traditional laboratory applications were conducted in the control group. The following tools were used to assess: student worksheet characteristic, quality sheet of learning implementation plan, development sheet of laboratory procedure, observation sheet of activity implementation of teacher and student, creative thinking test on acid base titration, creative attitude and action observation sheets, questionnaire of inquiry-based lab activities, and interviews. Inquiry-based Laboratory (ILAB) learning design on acid-base titration developed with problem identification, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, collecting data, data analysis and conclude step, is valid and has the potential to enhance creativity. The results showed that application of this learning design is done very well. The high activity of students on this learning because of the ILAB design start from the contextual problem of determining active substances in drugs that students meet. Students' creative thinking ability in the experimental class is significantly improvement compared to the students at control class. Type of questions mostly hypothetical questions that are prediction questions of high-order thinking skills. Creative attitude is shown by students well, marked by the number of questions that students ask at the time of learning. The student's creative action is highest in the lab preparation stage, because at this stage the students feel challenged by the activity of designing the experiment and preparing the test sample. Teachers and students responded positively to the ILAB learning design, which was demonstrated by the results of questionnaires and interviews.
