Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran Matematika pada sebuah SD di kota Bandung. Ini terjadi dikarenakan minimnya penggunaan pendekatan, model, dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Untuk dapat mengatasi hal tersebut, salah satu yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Quantum Teaching. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan peningkatan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran Matematika di SD dengan menggunakan Quantum Teaching. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena melihat rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model spiral dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil temuan yang didapat oleh peneliti dengan menerapkan Quantum Teaching dalam pembelajaran Matematika menunjukan peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 55, siklus I yaitu 70, dan siklus II yaitu 91. Dan persentase ketuntasan pada pra siklus mencapai 39%, siklus I yaitu 66%, dan siklus II yaitu 93%. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Quantum Teaching pada mata pelajaran Matematika di SD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Rekomendasi pada penelitian ini ditujukan untuk guru dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan Quantum Teaching. Kata Kunci : Quantum Teaching, Hasil belajar This research is motivated by low learning outcomes in mathematics subject in an elementary school in Bandung. This happens because of the lack of use of the approaches, models, and methods that teachers use in learning. To overcome this problem, one of that used in this research is Quantum Teaching. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation and improvement of learning outcomes in mathematics learning in elementary school by using Quantum Teaching. This study was conducted because of the low learning outcomes in mathematics subject. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research with spiral model from Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The participants in this research are 33 students of grade three. The findings obtained by the researchers by applying Quantum Teaching in mathematics learning showed improvement in each cycle. In the pre cycle the average value obtained is 55, in the first cycle is 70, and in the second cycle is 91. And the percentage of completeness in the pre cycle reaches 39%, in the first cycle is 66%, and in the second cycle is 93%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Quantum Teaching in mathematics subject in elementary school can improve learning outcomes. The recommendations in this research are intended for teachers in improving learning outcomes by using Quantum Teaching. Keywords : Quantum Teaching, Learning Outcomes
