Abstract

Air yang bersih merupakan kebutuhan penting bagi setiap makhluk hidup, maka dari itu kualitas air yang kurang baik akan berakibat langsung terhadap biota yang mendiaminya, kondisi biota tersebut akan buruk bila kualitas air tidak sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. Dalam pengelolaan air ini perlu adanya monitoring atau pemantauan terhadap kualitas air tersebut, sehingga diperlukan alat ukur agar kualitas air dapat diketahui. Dalam penelitian ini telah dibuat sebuah sistem Transmitter sensor kualitas yang berbasis arduino UNO dengan sensor yang terdiri dari empat parameter ukur yaitu Temperatur, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), dan Konduktivitas. Data pengukuran yang diambil sensor lalu ditransmisikan dengan komunikasi nirkabel dengan perangkat XBee dari Transmitter ke Receiver, sehingga diketahui nilai dari besaran-besaran yang menggambarkan kualitas air tersebut. Setelah dilakukan percobaan pemantauan kualitas air, alat dapat berjalan dengan baik untuk mengambil data dan mengirimkan ke receiver sesuai besarnya empat parameter. Hasil menjelaskan keadaan air yang ada didalamnya, sehingga dapat dilakukan evaluasi serta tindakan untuk setiap keadaan.;---Clean water is an essential requirement for every organism. Therefore poor water quality will directly impact to aquatic biota that inhabit it, and the biota conditions will be worse if water quality doesn’t match with the required. In water management, it is necessary to monitor the water quality, so we need a measuring tool so that water quality can be known. In this research we have created a Transmitter system of water quality in shrimp ponds based an arduino UNO with sensor consists of four paramaters, Temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and Conductivity. Measurement data was taken by sensor and then transmitted with XBee wireless communication device from Transmitter to Receiver, such that it can be known the value of the parameters that describe the quality of the water. After testing the water quality monitoring, this tool works well to retrieve data and send it to the receiver according to the four parameters. The results explain the state of the water in it, so that it can be evaluated and action for each situation.
