Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kerja sama siswa kelas V-C pada pembelajaran tematik dikarenakan kurangnya kemampuan akademik siswa dan lambatnya siswa dalam menerima materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mencoba meningkatkan kerja sama siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada pembelajaran tematik. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeksripsikan: (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. (2) Peningkatan kerja sama siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart yang memiliki 4 tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebelum penelitian dilakukan, kemampuan kerja sama siswa hanya mencapai 14%. Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan kerja sama siswa menjadi 64% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Dilanjutkan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 91% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pada pelaksanaannya, peningkatan kerja sama siswa berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan kerja sama siswa di kelas V-C di SD S Bandung. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif tipe jigsaw, kerja sama. This research is based on the low teamwork ability of students of V-C class in thematic learning due to the lack of academic ability of students and the slow of students in receiving learning materials. Based on these problems, the researcher tries to improve student cooperation by applying cooperative learning jigsaw type on thematic learning. The purpose of this research is to describe: (1) Implementation of thematic learning with applying cooperative learning jigsaw type. (2) Improvement of student cooperation through the application of cooperative learning jigsaw type. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) developed by Kemmis and Taggart which has 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Before the research was done, students' cooperation ability only reached 14%. After being given action in the first cycle there was an increase in student cooperation to 64% which is included in good category. Continued on the 2nd cycle increased to 91% which belong to very good category. In the implementation, the improvement of student cooperation has an impact on the improvement of student learning outcomes.
