Abstract
Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya Etos kerja guru di SMK X Bandung, ditandai dengan data jumlah guru beserta data keluar masuk guru dan stastus guru selama lima tahun yang bersifat fluktuatif. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan etos kerja guru adalah melalui iklim sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanasi yang bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh variabel iklim sekolah terhadap etos kerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK X Bandung berjumlah 109 responden dan teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling nonprobability yaitu purposive sampling. Maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 54 guru tetap yayasan dan guru DPK. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian yakni analisis regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2013. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa: 1. Persepsi tentang kondusivitas iklim sekolah berada pada tingkat rendah; 2. Persepsi tentang tingkat etos kerja guru berada pada tingkat rendah dan 3. Iklim sekolah berpengaruh pos dan signifikan terhadap etos kerja guru. ;---The problem of this research is the low work ethic of teachers at X Vocational High School Bandung. It is characterized by fluctuate teacher’s turnover during the last five years. One way to improve is through the teacher’s work ethic. The method used is survey explanation that aims to find the effect between the variables school climate (X) and teacher’s work ethic (Y). Population were teachers of X Vocational High School Bandung as many as 109 people. In the research used nonprobabilty sampling such as purposive sampling. Sampel were tetap yayasan and DPK teacher’s as many as 54 people. The technique data analysis used to answer the research problem formulation that is simple regression analysis by Microsoft Excel 2013. The results of data analysis showed that: 1. Perception about school climate in the level of not conducive; 2. Perception about teachers’s work ethic in low level, 3. School Climate has positive influence and significant toward teacher’s work ethic.
