Abstract

STEM merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan untuk mata pelajaran IPA serta mengajarkan kompetensi abad 21, hal tersebut sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi kurikulum yang berlaku. Selain dapat dijadikan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran IPA, STEM juga dapat melatih kinerja siswa. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan terhadap salah satu sekolah di kota Bandung menunjukkan 52% siswa menyatakan bahwa guru tidak pernah menunjukkan hasil penilaian kinerja siswa, 44% menyatakan kadang-kadang dan 4% menyatakan sering. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa di sekolah tersebut tidak pernah dilaksanakan penilaian kinerja. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui profil kinerja siswa SMA pada pembelajaran rangkaian tertutup dengan pendekatan STEM. Adapun aspek kinerja yang akan diukur yaitu meliputi kinerja mendesain alat dan kinerja membuat alat . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan desain penelitian Pre-Experimental Desaign(non desaign) dengan menggunakan one-shot case study, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas X dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan rubrik, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), serta angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profil kinerja siswa mendesain alat sangat baik yaitu 87%, siswa laki-laki sangat baik 84%, siswa perempuan sangat baik 86%. Sedangkan kinerja siswa dalam membuat alat baik dengan persentase 66%, siswa laki-laki cukup dengan persentase 59% dan siswa perempuan kategori baik dengan persentase 71%. Sedangkan respon siswa dari hasil pembelajaran kinerja dengan menggunakan STEM menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa setuju dan senang melakukan pembelajaran kinerja dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM. ;---STEM is a learning approach applied to science subjects as well as teaching the competence of the 21st century, it is in accordance with the demands of applicable curriculum competence. In addition can be used as an approach to science learning, STEM can also train student performance. A preliminary study conducted on one school in Bandung showed 52% of students stated that the teacher never showed student performance appraisal results, 44% said sometimes and 4% stated frequently. So it can be concluded that the school has never implemented performance appraisal. Therefore, the objective of the research is to know the profile of high school student performance in closed circuit learning with STEM approach. The aspects of performance to be measured include the performance of designing tools and performance of making tools. The research method used is descriptive and research design of Pre-Experimental Desaign (non desaign) by using one-shot case study, sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample of this research is high school student of class X with number of 32 students. The instrument of this research using rubric, Worksheet , and questionnaire. The results showed the students' performance profile designed excellent tool that is 87%, male students are very good 84%, female students are very good 86%. While the students' performance in making good tools with percentage of 66%, male students enough with percentage of 59% and female students good category with percentage of 71%. While the students' responses from the performance learning outcomes using STEM show most of the students agree and enjoy doing performance learning using STEM approach.
