Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart. Tindakan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lebar observasi kegiatan guru dan siswa. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa 27 orang siswa kelas VA SDN SRH sukajadi Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada prasiklus kecerdasan interpersonal siswa sebesar 37% tergolong kategori kurang. Pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 20%, menjadi 57% tergolong kategori baik. Pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 29% menjadi 86% tergolong kategori baik sekali pada peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Ini berarti bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. ;---This research is based on the low of students' interpersonal intelligence. This study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning model type STAD to improve the interpersonal intelligence students grade V school. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Taggart model. Actions are implemented in two cycles. Data collection tools used in the form of wide observation activities of teachers and students. The subjects of this research are 27 students of VA SDN SRH sukajadi class of Bandung. The results showed that the students' interpersonal intelligence preemption of 37% is classified as less. In the first cycle increased by 20%, to 57% belonging to good category. In the second cycle increased by 29% to 86% classified as excellent category on improving students' interpersonal intelligence. This means that the application of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the interpersonal intelligence of grade V elementary school students.
