    Abstract

    Perkembangan dunia pendidikan saat ini menuntut adanya penyesuaian sistem pendidikan yang selaras dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Salah satu lembaga pada jalur pendidikan formal yang menyiapkan lulusannya untuk memiliki keunggulan di dunia kerja, diantaranya melalui jalur pendidikan kejuruan. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dirancang untuk menyiapkan peserta didik atau lulusan yang siap memasuki dunia kerja dan mampu mengembangkan sikap profesional di bidangnya. SMK dengan program keahlian Seni Pertunjukan di Kota Bandung saat ini hanya terdapat satu SMK yaitu SMK N 10 Bandung. Mengingat Bandung merupakan kota yang terkenal akan kreativitasnya diberbagai bidang. Banyaknya kekuatan kreativitas yang ada di Kota Bandung menjadikan Bandung sentra industri kreatif Indonesia. Dilihat dari faktor tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa kebutuhan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan masih sangat besar di masyarakat. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk merespon kebutuhan masyarakat dalam penyediaan fasilitas keahlian dalam pendidikan formal dengan mengangkat Tema Aristektur Neo-Vernakular Sunda. Sehingga, SMK Seni Pertunjukan menjadi salah satu solusi menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat dalam menyediakan sekolah kejuruan dengan fokus keahlian Seni Pertunjukan. Dengan perencanaan dan perancangan SMK Seni Pertunjukan diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi lingkungan SMK yang mampu memberikan rasa nyaman, aman dan mampu memberikan pemikiran yang kreatif dan positif dalam meningkatkan nilai mutu SMK Seni Pertunjukan.

    The development of the world of education today requires an adjustment of education system in harmony with the demands of the world of work. One of the institutions on the formal education that prepares its graduates to have excellence in the world of work, is through the vocational educational path. Vocational High School (SMK) is designed to prepare students or graduates who are ready to enter the workforce and able to develop a professional attitude in its field. SMK with a program of Performing Arts expertise in Bandung currently there is only one school that is SMKN 10 Bandung. As Bandung is famous for its creativity in various fields. The number of creative forces that exist in Bandung makes Bandung be a creative industry center in Indonesia. Judging from these factors, it can be assumed that the needs of Vocational High School is still very large in the community. This writing aims to respond to the needs of the community in providing vocational schools with the focus of Performing Arts expertise. By the planning and designing of SMK Performing Arts is expected to facilitate the vocational environment that is able to provide a sense of comfort, safe and able to provide creative and positive thinking in improving the quality value of SMK Performing Arts.
