Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pendidikan kepribadian Islami bagi mahasiswa yang sedang mencari ilmu di perguruan tinggi. Namun seiring kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di sisi lain menimbulkan problematika baru dalam dunia pendidikan di perguruan tinggi khususnya perilaku yang ditunjukkan mahasiswa dengan maraknya konsumsi minuman keras, narkoba, perilaku pergaulan bebas, dan aborsi, adalah bukti yang tidak ternafikan akibat dampak negatif dari kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pola pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Miftahul Khoir Bandung dalam membentuk kepribadian Islami. Adapun secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil, tujuan, program, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan keberhasilan pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Miftahul Khoir Bandung dalam membentuk kepribadian Islami. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya langkah nyata dalam menyelesaikan salah satu problematika pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pola pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Miftahul Khoir Bandung dalam membentuk kepribadian Islami terbagi menjadi 2 program, yaitu program yang tercantum dalam silabus dan non-silabus. Program tersebut dilaksanakan secara kesinambungan dan diawasi oleh bagian pengasuh santri yang dibantu oleh pengurus pesantren dan pengurus santri. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti program pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Miftahul Khoir Bandung tidak akan menjadi sebuah hambatan dalam menjalankan proses kuliahnya bahkan lebih efektif dalam membentuk kepribadian Islami karena menggunakan sistem asrama. Pendidikan kepribadian Islami akan lebih efektif apabila dilaksanakan dengan pola yang alamiah dengan menggunakan sistem asrama. ------- This Research is based on idea about the importance of education towards Islamic personality for college students. Despite multiple benefits that society may obtain from the development in science and technology, this development can also cause a new problem towards education field in the university life, specifically on students behavior indicated by massive consumption an alcohols, drugs, promiscuity, as well as abortion among female teenagers. These examples can be undeniable proof that the rising era in science and technology may bring about the drawbacks instead of their advantages to many people around the world. Generally, the reasearch aims to describe the Pattern of Islamic Education in Miftahul Khoir Islamic Boarding School Bandung in molding Islamic personality. However the specific purpose is to learn about profile, goals, programs, execution of the programs, evaluation and the success rate of the implementation Islamic education pattern implemented in the institution. This research is done as a real movement to overcome one of many education problems that occur in the university. The method applied for this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques are variant i.e. interview, observation, documentation study. In this research, researcher was having role as the main instrument. Based on the result of experiment, the pattern of Islamic education in Miftahul Khoir Islamic Boarding School Bandung in molding Islamic personality, this Islamic boarding school dividers the Islamic personality into two programmes which is stated on syllabus and non syllabus. Those programmes are integrated done and supervisioned by the students’ supervisor along with the committee of the Islamic boarding school. The students who are undergoing the programmes find no difficulty in their study. They even find that the programmes are very effective in molding the Islamic personality since the Miftahul Khoir Islamic Boarding School Bandung applies boarding house system among the students. The education of Islamic personality would be much more effective when the education is intregated with boarding house system.
