Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 14 Bandung dilihat dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada mata pelajaran ekonomi materi masalah pokok ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent pretest-postest control group design. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji paired-sample t test dan independent-sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (i) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen antara sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan peningkatan pada kategori sedang; (ii) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab.;---This research is motivated by the low ability of creative thinking students in class X IIS SMA Negeri 14 Bandung seen from the test of the creative thinking ability on economics subjects matter of main economic problem. This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning methods to the student’s creative thinking ability. The research method used is quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretest-postest control group design. Hypothesis test used in this research is paired-sample t test and independent-sample t test. The results showed that: (i) There is a difference of student's creative thinking ability in the experimental class between before and after being treated of guided inquiry method with an increase in the moderate category; (ii) There is a difference in the improvement of student's creative thinking ability between the experimental classes given the treatment of guided inquiry method and the control class using the lecture and question answer method.
