Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan karena tingkat kemandirian anak beragam termasuk anak-anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Centeh, penulis melihat kemandirian anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak tersebut belum terstimulasi secara optimal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode proyek terhadap kemandirian anak. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Centeh Bandung. Kecamatan Batu Nunggal, Kota Bandung, dengan subjek penelitian 40 anak kelompok B. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group desain. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian data pretes pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukan tingkat kemandirian anak 100% masih dalam proses berkembang. Setelah dilakukan treatment hasil akhir pada data postes kelompok eksperimen menunjukan kemandirian anak meningkat 80%, anak dalam kategori sudah berkembang dan anak dalam kategori dalam proses berkembang 20%. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol menunjukan 65% anak berada dalam kategori sudah berkembang, dan anak dalam proses berkembang 35%. Dengan perolehan uji t 0,036 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada kemandirian anak antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sesudah pembelajaran dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peneliti merekomendasikan kepada pendidik anak usia dini agar pembelajaran dengan penggunaan metode proyek mampu dijadikan sebagai salah satu pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemandirian anak. ;--- This research conducted because the level of independence of children are varies, including in Centeh State Kindergarten. The author obtained the result that te independence of child in B group Kindergarten has not been optimally stimulated. Therefore, this research aimed to find out the influence of the project methods on the child's independence. The research location is in Kindergarten State Centeh Bandung, Batu Nunggal subdistrict, Bandung, with research subjects 40 children in group B. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design nonequivalent control group design. Research data were obtained using a research instrument in the form of guidelines for observation. the results of the pretest data on experimental and control class showed a 100% of level of the child's independence is still in the process of developing. After conducting treatment outcome in the data posttest experimental group showed the independence of children increased by 80%, in the category of children has grown and child in the category in the process of developing 20%. Meanwhile the control class showed 65% of children are in the category has grown, and the child in the process of developing 35%. With the acquisition of t test 0,036 <0.05, Ha accepted, which means that there are significant differences to chlid’s independence between the experimental group and the control group after learning implemented. Based on the results of the study researchers recommend to early childhood educators in order to learning with use project methods able to serve as the one of lesson to develop the child's independence.
