Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan bertanya siswa dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam pendekatan saintifik dengan strategi Question Student Have. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Pada kondisi awal pra-penelitian, dari 34 orang siswa hanya 24% siswa yang bertanya dengan kualitas pertanyaan yang rendah (C1). Setelah dilakukan tindakan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan bertanya siswa, baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitas. Pada Siklus I dan Siklus II terdapat 91% siswa yang bertanya, sedangkan pada Siklus III meningkat menjadi 97%. Selain itu, kualitas pertanyaan yang dibuat oleh siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada Siklus I terdapat 41% pertanyaan kategori tinggi, pada Siklus II meningkat menjadi 43%, dan pada Siklus III meningkat menjadi 57%. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan strategi Question Student Have dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa sekolah dasar. ;--- This research aimed to describe the increase of questioning skills and learning outcomes of students by implementing the steps of learning in the scientific approach with Question Student Have strategy. The method used was classroom action research. At the beginning of the pre-conditions of the study, out of 34 students only 24% of students who asked the question that low quality (C1). After the action, the results showed an increase in student questioning skills, in terms of both quantity and quality. In Cycle I and Cycle II contained 91% of students who asked, while in Cycle III increased to 97%. In addition, the quality of the questions made by students also increased, which in the first cycle there were 41% higher category question, on the second cycle increased to 43%, and in Cycle III increased to 57%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach with Question Student Have strategies can improve the questioning skills of elementary school students.
