Abstract

Permasalahan pada PT. XYZ saat ini hanya mengandalkan pembukuan manual saja, maka biaya produksi akan membengkak dan seluruh investasi yang ditanamkan menjadi kurang untuk memprediksi penjualan maupun inventory barang. Apabila prediksi inventory barang maka biaya produksi akan membengkak dan seluruh investasi yang ditanamkan menjadi kurang efisien. Begitu juga sebaliknya, seandainya prediksi persediaan terlalu kecil maka akan berdampak terhadap konsumen sehingga konsumen terpaksa menunggu untuk produk yang diinginkan. Oleh karena itu di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini perkembangan teknologi komputer telah menjadi bagian yang sangat penting dalam setiap rencana bisnis. Hampir dari seluruh perusahaan baik skala besar maupun kecil menggunakan teknologi komputer. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komputer, manusia dapat mengefisienkan waktu dalam menyelesaikan masalah-masalah bisnis yang kompleks. Teknologi komputer bagi perusahaan telah menjadi sebuah aktivitas yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk memberikan peningkatan terhadap layanan bisnis yang mereka kelola tetapi sistem dan teknologi tidak terbatas hanya pada model distribusi serta pengolahan data namun sistem yang ada harus dapat menganalisa kemungkinan kemampuan perusahaan di masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu perusahaan harus dapat meramalkan kondisi dan keadaan, baik dari inventory barang, tenaga, ataupun keuntungan yang akan didapatkan. Untuk melakukan peramalan tersebut jumlah data historis penjualan Desember 2014 sampai dengan Desember 2016 akan dihitung dengan menggunakan metode peramalan holt Winters yang merupakan metode peramalan deret waktu (Time Series) yaitu Multiplicative Seasonal Method (data musiman yang mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan) dan memiliki 4 persamaan yaitu Pemulusan Tunggal, Pemulusan Tren, Pemulusan Musiman dan Ramalan. Dari hasil peneltian yang dilakukan nilai error yang berupa MAPE nilainya di bawah 1% sehingga dapat dikatakan jika peramalan dengan metode Holt Winter Multiplicative. ;--- Problems at PT. XYZ currently only rely on manual bookkeeping, then the cost of production will swell and all investments invested to be less to predict sales and inventory of goods. If the inventory prediction of goods is to large, then the cost of production will swell and all investments invested to be less efficient. Vice versa, if the inventory prediction is too small it will impact on consumers, so that consumers are forced to wait for the desired product. Therefore, in this era of globalization, the development of computer technology has become a very important part in every business plan. Almost of all companies, both large and small, use computer technology. By utilizing computer technology, people can make time in solving complex business problems. Computer technology for companies has become an indispensable activity to provide enhancements to the business services they manage but systems and technologies are not limited to the distribution model and data processing but the existing system must be able to analyze the possibilities of future company capabilities. Therefore the company must be able to forecast conditions and circumstances, either from inventory of goods, force, or profits to be obtained. To forecast it, the data of total sales from December 2014 to December 2016 will be calculated by using the method of Holt Winters, which is the method of time series prediction (Multiplicative Seasonal Method) it is seasonal data that has increased and decreased, also has 4 equations i.e Single Smoothing, Trending Smoothing, Seasonal Smoothing and Forecasting. From the results of research conducted, error value in the form of MAPE is below 1%, so it can be concluded that forecasting with the method of Holt Winter Multiplicative.
