Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari belum adanya pembagian kerja yang jelas untuk pembelajaran praktikum pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura, sehingga siswa menjadi kurang terarah dan hasil belajar menjadi kurang optimal. Selain itu, media pembelajaran yang kurang juga melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, diterapkan model pembelajaran Modified Production Based Training yang diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Berbasis Produksi Termodifikasi (Modified Production Based Training) dengan bantuan modul pada kompetensi dasar pengolahan dengan udara panas kelas XI TPHP SMK PPN Tanjungsari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) selama 3 siklus. Hasil belajar siswa diukur menggunakan tes objektif (pre-test dan post-test), lembar penilaian psikomotorik, lembar penilaian sikap (observer, self assessment dan peer assessment) dan lembar observasi proses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Modified Production Based Training dengan bantuan modul terlaksana dengan baik dan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh : (1) keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran mencapai 100 % pada setiap siklus, (2) pada ranah kognitif ketercapaian hasil belajar di atas KKM sebesar 47 % pada siklus I, 70 % pada siklus II dan 100 % pada siklus III. Peningkatan hasil belajar juga dapat dilihat dari nilai gain. Pada siklus I didapatkan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,42, siklus II sebesar 0,58 serta pada siklus III adalah sebesar 0,74, (3) rata-rata nilai afektif pada indikator disiplin, kepedulian, responsif dan proaktif mengalami peningkatan pada tiap siklunya, (4) rata-rata nilai psikomotorik siswa termasuk ke dalam kategori”baik sekali”.;---This research begins from the absence of a clear division of work for learning practicum on subjects of Technology Processing food Crops and Horticulture. So, that’s students become less focussed and learning outcomes become less optimal. In addition, other background of this researh is less learning media. The aims of this research is the implementation of learning process and student learning outcomes through the application of Modified Production Based Training model with the help of module on base competence of processing with hot air in class XI TPHP SMK PPN Tanjungsari. This research used Classroom Action Research Method which had done in three cycles. The student learning outcomes are measured using objective tests (pre-test and post-test), psychomotor assessment sheets, attitude assessment (observer, self assessment and peer assessment) and process observation sheets. The results showed that the application of Modified Production Based Training model with the help of the module was done well and there was an increase of student learning outcomes. This is shown by : (1) the learning process reaches 100% in every cycle, (2) in the cognitive aspects of learning achievement above minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 47% in cycle I, 70% in cycle II and 100% in cycle III. Increased learning results can also be seen from the value of gain. In the first cycle, the value of N-gain is 0.42, cycle II is 0.58 and in cycle III is 0.74, (3) the affective mean on the indicator of discipline, awareness, responsiveness and proactivity has increased (4) the average psychomotor value of students belongs to the "very good" category.
