Abstract

Tujuan utama pendidikan nasional adalah menjadikan peserta didik beriman, bertaqwa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) merupakan salah satu instrumen mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional tersebut. Namun pada kenyataannya PAI belum mampu mentransformasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam kepribadian peserta didik secara utuh. PAI di sekolah terkesan kurang diminati karena monoton dalam pengembangan substansi materi dan kurang bervariasi dalam pengembangan model pembelajarannya. Melihat fenomena tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang model pembelajaran PAI di sekolah-sekolah yang dianggap berhasil. Salah satu sekolah yang dianggap berhasil adalah SMP Alfa Centauri Bandung. Secara spesifik, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran PAI di SMP Alfa Centauri Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Sedangkan pengolahan data dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur yang sudah mapan. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan model pembelajaran PAI di SMP Alfa Centauri secara utuh. Model pembelajaran PAI di SMP Alfa Centauri merupakan satu kesatuan antara komponen utama, komponen penunjuang, dan kegiatan kokurikuler secara terintegrasi dan berkesinambungan. Komponen utama antara lain; tujuan pendidikan, pendidik, peserta didik, dan kurikulum pendidikan. Komponen penunjang antara lain; sarana dan prasarana, lingkungan belajar, dan suasana belajar menjadi perhatian tersendiri dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajaran PAI di SMP Alfa Centauri. Demikian pula kegiatan kokurikuler seperti pembelajaran tahfiẓ, shalat ḍuha berjamaah, tilawah al Quran, shalat ẓuhur berjamaah, infak harian, dan perayaan hari besar Islam dijadikan ciri khas dalam pembelajaran PAI. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, semua proses pembelajaran bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai metode, namun berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penggunaan metode qurani yaitu metode pembiasaan dan metode keteladan sangat efektif dalam mentransformasikan nillai-nilai keimanan dan ketakwaan pada peserta didik.;---The main objective of national education is to make students faithful, pious, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and responsible. Islamic Education (PAI) is one of the instruments in order to achieve the aforementioned objective of national education. However, as a matter of fact, Islamic Education has not been able to fully transform Islamic values into the students’ personality. Moreover, Islamic Education as so far taught in schools seems less interested because it is in fact monotonous in the development of material substance and less varies in the development of learning model. Based on the aforesaid phenomenon, it is needed to conduct a study on an Islamic Education learning model in schools in which it has been successfully implemented. One of the schools that has been implementing Islamic Education successfully is SMP Alfa Centauri Bandung. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to know the model of Islamic Education learning at SMP Alfa Centauri Bandung. This present study employed a qualitative approach, specifically through a descriptive method. In addition, the techniques of collecting data in this carried out study were executed through observation, interviews, and document studies. Also, the data processing was carried out in accordance with the established procedures. Based on this study, it was found that the model of Islamic Education learning in SMP Alfa Centauri was fully implemented. The Islamic Education learning model at SMP Alfa Centauri was considered as one single unity among the main components, the supporting components, and the integrated and sustainable co-curricular activities. The main components included; educational objectives, teachers, students, and educational curriculum. Supporting components included: facilities and infrastructure, learning environment, and learning atmosphere as its own central attention in the implementation of Islamic Education learning model at SMP Alfa Centauri Bandung. Similarly, co-curricular activities, such as tahfiẓ learning, ḍuha prayers in congregation, recitations of the Quran, ẓuhur prayers in congregation, daily infak (charity), and the celebration of the Islamic days as a unique point in Islamic Education learning. Based on the findings of this study, the all learning processes can be executed through various methods. However, based on the results of this study, the use of Quranic method in the forms of habituation method and exemplary method was very effective in transforming the values of faith and piety to the students.
