Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang peneliti temukan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS terkait rendahnya rasa percaya diri siswa. Permasalahan yang diangkat pada penelitian ini mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran active learning tipe everyone is teacher here untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode pembelajaran tersebut dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kendala dan solusi, serta peningkatan rasa percaya diri siswa dengan menggunakan metode everyone is teacher here dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. Meninjau permasalahan yang akan diteliti berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran, maka peneiti memilih menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Taggart yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan penilaian rasa percaya diri siswa, metode everyone is teacher here, dan hasil tugas siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Sedangkan teknik validitas data yang digunakan yaitu member chek, audit trial, dan expert opinion. Indikator rasa percaya diri dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah siswa mempunyai inisiatif, mampu mengatur kontak mata, pembawaan yang tenang, menuliskan pendapat, bertanya atau berkomentar, mengkomunikasikan, memenej dirinya dan orang lain, tanggungjawab, menghargai pendapat orang lain, dan dapat meyakinkan orang lain dengan gagasan yang dibawanya. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pada setiap indikator mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Kesimpulan umum, bahwa penggunaan metode active learning tipe everyone is teacher here dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. ;--- This study is motivated by the problems that the author found in Social Science learning process related to the low self-confidence of students. The issues raised in this study concerning the active learning model implementation of everyone is teacher here type to improve self-confidence of students in Social Science learning. This learning method can be an alternative to improve self-confidence. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, constraints and solutions, as well as improving self-confidence of students by using everyone is teacher here method in Social Science in VIII-A grade 10 Bandung Junior High School. Reviewing the studied issues related to the learning process, the author uses Classroom Action Research method with Kemmis and Taggart research design conducted in 3 cycles. Data analysis techniques used in this study is by using self-confidence ratings of students, everyone is teacher here method, and the student tasks in each cycle. The data validity techniques used are member checks, audit trials, and expert opinion. The indicators of self-confidence include student’s initiative, the ability to manage eye contact, calm nature, write the opinions, ask or comment, communicate, manage themselves and others, responsibility, respect other opinions, and the ability to convince others with their idea. The results of study indicate that each indicator increased in each cycle. The general conclusion is that the use of active learning method everyone is teacher here type can improve self-confidence of students in Social Science in VIII-A grade 10 Bandung Junior High School.
