Abstract
Sumedang merupakan kabupaten yang mendapat julukan Puseur Budaya Sunda. Sebagai kabupaten yang memiliki banyak kebudayaan. Salah satunya yaitu kesenian koromong sebagai kesenian yang khas dan berkembang di dusun Cikubang Desa sukahayu Rancakalong. Di dalam kesenian koromong terkandung berbagai nilai luhur yang sampai saat ini masih dipertahankan dan di wariskan kepada generasi muda khususnya kepada generasi muda yang ada di Desa Sukahayu. Dengan alasan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses pewarisan nilai-nilai kesenian koromong kepada generasi muda di dusun Cikubang Desa Sukahayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) nilai-nilai yang terdapat di dalam kesenian koromong diantara nilai tolong menolong, musyawarah, persatuan dan nilai keagamaan. (2) proses pewarisan nilai-nilai kesenian koromong kepada generasi muda dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu dengan proses imitasi, poses identifikasi dan poses sosialisasi. (3) kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pewarisan nilai-nilai kesenian koromong kepada generasi muda yaitu sosialisasi kesenian koromong kepada generasi muda masih kurang di tangkap dengan baik oleh generasi muda dan penerapan kesenian tradisonal koromong yang belum seluruhnya diterapkan di sekolah. (4) upaya dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut yaitu dengan adanya pembinaan di desa terhadap masyarakat akan pentingnya kesenian koromong dan dimasukkannya kesenian koromong kedalam mata pelajaran seni budaya sekolah di SMAN Rancakalong.;-- Sumedang is a district its earned the namely Puseur Budaya Sunda. As a district its has many cultures. One of them, namely the art of koromong as a typical arts and develop in the hamlet of Cikubang Village Sukahayu Rancakalong. In the art of koromong contain a wide range of great value are still maintained and in the young generation to inherit, especially to the younger generation in the village Sukahayu. With those reasons, this research was conducted to find out the process of inheritance koromong art values to the young generation in the hamlet of Cikubang Village Sukahayu. This research used a qualitative approach and method case studies. Data collection is done with the interview, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study are (1) the values contained in the art of koromong between the value prosocial, discussion, unity and religious values. (2) the process of inheritance koromong art values to the young generation is done by three ways that is by the process of imitation, poses a simple identification and socialization.. (3) the obstacles faced in the process of inheritance koromong Arts values to the younger generation that is art koromong to the socialization of the young generation is still lacking in the catch by the younger generation and application of traditional arts koromong which has not been entirely implemented in schools. (4) efforts in tackling these constraints, namely with the construction in the village against the community of the importance of the arts koromong arts koromong and inclusion into the subjects of art and culture in the Rancakalong high school.
