Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena tren berbelanja secara online melalui media sosial instagram yang banyak diminati oleh kalangan remaja saat ini. Berbelanja secara online ini membuat para remaja ini menjadi berperilaku konsumtif. Peneliti melihat para remaja khususnya siswa SMA di Kota Bandung ini mulai mengikuti tren berbelanja secara online melalui media sosial instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media sosial instagram terhadap perilaku konsumtif belanja online para pelajar SMAN di Kota Bandung. Tempat penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga sekolah SMAN Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket tertutup. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola gaya hidup para pengguna instagram di dalam kehidupan kesehariannya masuk kedalam kategori sedang sebesar 68% bisa disimpulkan disini para siswa tidak menggunakan instagram secara berlebihan dan menyita waktu mereka untuk belajar. Perilaku konsumtif belanja online pada siswa SMA di Kota Bandung masuk kedalam kategori sedang sebesar 70% yang menunjukan jika para siswa menggunakan instagram sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka atau hanya untuk hiburan saja, para siswa disini tidak terpaku untuk terus berbelanja secara online melalui instagram. Serta media sosial instagram berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif para siswa SMAN di Kota Bandung sebesar 64,8% karena hasil dari penelitian menunjukan hasil lebih dari setengahnya instagram ini berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif siswa sedangkan sisanya diperngaruhi oleh variabel lain.;---The research was distributed by the phenomenon of online shopping trends via social media is a much sought after by instagram among teenagers today. Online shopping makes it into the teens behave consumerist. Researchers see the teens especially high school students in the city of Bandung start following the trend to shop online through social media instagram. This research aims to find out how big the influence of social media consumption behavior against instagram shopping online students SMAN in Bandung. Place this research was conducted in the three schools also know as SMA Bandung. This research using survey research methods with quantitative approach. The technique of data collection is done using the now closed. Research results show that the pattern of the users ' lifestyle in her everyday life instagram belonging to the category being of 68% can be inferred here students not using instagram is excessive and time-consuming for them to learn. Consumer online shopping behavior in high school students in the city of Bandung in the category are of 70% that shows if students are using instagram according to their needs or simply for entertainment purposes only, students here are not glued to continue shopping online via instagram. As well as social media affect consumer behavior instagram students SMAN in Bandung amounted 64.8% because the results of the research showed the results of more than half of this behavioral effect on instagram consumerist students while the rest are diperngaruhi by other variables.
