Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemilihan pendekatan pembelajaran pada praktik making bed 3 sheet yang kurang tepat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kegiatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru atau teacher centered, sehingga praktik making bed 3 sheet pada peserta didik kelas XII AP-1 SMKN 9 Bandung belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar pada praktik making bed 3 sheet dengan menerapkan pendekatan learning by doing. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII AP-1 SMKN 9 Bandung sebanyak 33 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan alat penilaian kinerja peserta didik. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I mengacu pada fase learning by doing masih perlu dioptimalkan, ada beberapa fase yang belum dilaksanakan oleh guru dengan baik, sehingga praktik making bed peserta didik belum maksimal, sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan, guru sudah melakukan proses pembelajaran yang mengacu pada fase learning by doing dengan baik terlihat dari capaian nilai peserta didik yang meningkat. Besarnya hasil peningkatan menunjukkan pada kategori sedang. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan melalui penelitian ini bahwa pendekatan learning by doing hendaknya digunakan dalam penelitian lainnya yang berbeda seperti pada praktik binatu (laundry), praktik general cleaning, dan praktik public area. ;---This research is motivated by the selection of learning approaches in the practice of making bed 3 sheet that is less precise, it can be seen from teacher-centered or teacher centered learning activities, so the practice of making bed 3 sheet in the students of class XII AP-1 SMKN 9 Bandung maximum. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and learning outcomes in the practice of making bed 3 sheets by applying the learning by doing approach. This research method is a classroom action research with two cycles. The sample of this research is the students of class XII AP-1 SMKN 9 Bandung as many as 33 people. The instrument of data collection used is observation sheet of teacher activity and student performance appraisal tool. The results obtained in the first cycle refers to the phase of learning by doing still needs to be optimized, there are some phases that have not been implemented by the teacher well, so the practice of making bed learners not maximal, while in cycle II has increased, the teacher has done the learning process In the phase of learning by doing well seen from the achievement of the value of increased learners. The magnitude of the improvement results indicate in the medium category. Recommendations that can be submitted through this research that the learning by doing approach should be used on other practical subjects such as the practice of lesson Laundry, and learning by doing approach can be collaborated with the individual approach.
