Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata Ujian Nasional mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di kota Bandung Wilayah Barat yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian adalah 433 siswa kelas X IIS SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung Wilayah Barat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik two stage random sampling, yaitu simple random sampling, dan quota sampling, sehingga diperoleh 208 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (i) lingkungan keluarga tergolong kondusif, motivasi belajar tergolong sedang, dan hasil belajar tergolong baik; (ii) lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar; (iii) lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar; (iv) motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, dan; (v) lingkungan keluarga dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar. Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, lingkungan keluarga, motivasi belajar The problem of this research is the average score of National Examination in the Economics subject at Public Senior High School in West Bandung City still needs to be improved. The main purpose of this research is to understand the influence of family environment and learning motivation towards learning outcome. The method of this study is survey explanatory. The respondents are 208 tenth graders of IIS Class in West Bandung City taken from 433 students using two-stage random sampling. There are simple random sampling, and quota sampling. The data is collected by using questionnaire and documentation. The results show that: (i) family environment is conducive, learning motivation is well, and learning outcome is good; (ii) family environment has a positive influence towards learning motivation; (iii) family environment has a positive influence towards an academic achievement; (iv) learning motivation has a positive influence towards an academic achievement, and; (v) family environment and motivation learning have a positive influence simultaneously towards an academic achievement.
