Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan mengenai pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ sebagai salah satu upaya dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. Pengembangan karakter siswa yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah karakter baik dan kuat (BAKU). Karakter baik terdiri atas tiga aspek yaitu ikhlas, jujur, dan tawāḍu’, sedangkan karakter kuat terdiri atas tiga aspek pula yaitu disiplin, berani, dan tangguh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif jenis studi korelasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket tertutup sebagai instrumen utama yang ditujukan kepada siswa. Selain angket, penelitian ini juga menggunakan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, guna mendukung serta mempertajam data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data temuan penelitian, gambaran pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ saat halakah Alquran termasuk dalam kategori baik yaitu dilaksanakannya halakah untuk menyetorkan hafalan baru (ziyadah) dan menyetorkan hafalan lama (murajaah) dengan sistem talaqi. Pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ di asrama termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, karena pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ diiringi dengan pembiasaan ibadah wajib dan sunah serta pembiasaan karakter baik dan kuat (BAKU). Secara umum berdasarkan analisis korelasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ dan pengembangan karakter siswa di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan. Pelaksanaan program takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ dan pengembangan karakter siswa akan saling memengaruhi, karena menghafal Alquran merupakan perbuatan mulia, seyogianya perlu diiringi dengan akhlak mulia yaitu akhlak atau karakter baik dan kuat, sebagaimana Alquran merupakan akhlak Rasulullah saw. yang menjadi suri teladan bagi seluruh umat.;---This present study aims at answering the issues related to the implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program as a means of developing the character of students at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. In particular, the character developments of the students as pointed out in this present study consist of good and strong characters (BAKU). On the one hand, a good character consists of three aspects: sincerity, honest, and humility, and on the other hand, a strong character also consists of three aspects: discipline, courage, and resilience. The method employed in this carried out study was a quantitative descriptive method in the form of correlational study. In addition, the instrument used in this study was a closed questionnaire as the main instrument circulated to the students. Furthermore, this present study also used the guidelines of interviews, observation, and documentation studies, in order to support and refine the obtained data of this study. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obvious that the description of the implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program during the halaqoh Quran (the mentoring of Quran) were considered to be good. Particularly, the halaqoh Quran (the mentoring of Quran) were executed in order to recite the new memorization of Quran (ziyadah) and recite the old memorization (murajaah) through a talaqi (face-to-face mentoring) system. In addition, the implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program in the boarding house was also considered to be excellent since it was obvious that the implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program was executed along with the habituation of the obligatory and supplementary worships and the habituation of good and strong characters (BAKU). In general, based on the correlation analysis, it could be concluded that there was a strong and significant relationship between the implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program and character development of students at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. The implementation of takhaṣuṣ taḥfīẓ program and character development of students would in fact influence each other. Undeniably, since memorizing the Quran was a noble deed, it in fact should be accompanied by noble characters, especially the good or strong characters, as exemplified by the Prophet with respect to the Quran, as the role model for all peoples.
