Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh penguasaan konsep dan motivasi siswa dengan diadakannya penugasan pembuatan video kepada siswa. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi karena saat ini pembelajaran dihadapkan dengan berbagai macam tantangan dan permasalahan. Diantara permasalahannya adalah perkembangan teknologi dan pemakaian media pembelajaran. Media berupa video biasanya digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang didapat oleh pengajar dari web atau sekolah. Maka dari itu pada penelitian ini dicoba untuk memberikan tugas kepada siswa untuk membuat suatu video pada materi sistem gerak dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan penugasan pada pembelajarannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan motivasi siswa dalam konsep mekanisme gerak otot dengan jalan memberikan kesempatan pada siswa untuk lebih mengasah kemampuannya dalam pembuatan tugas berupa video menggunakan metode penugasan. Penelitian jenis eksperimen kuasi (eksperimen semu) digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dimana penelitian ini banyak menggunakan angka, pengumpulan data, penafsiran, serta penampilan dari hasilnya. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel di SMAN Negeri 6 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan tes penguasaan konsep dan angket motivasi siswa. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan penguasaan konsep maupun motivasi siswa pada kelas yang diberi tugas membuat video dan kelas yang hanya melihat video dari guru bisa dikatakan sama. Kata Kunci : Penguasaan Konsep, Motivasi Siswa, Kuasi eksperimen, Metode Penugasan This research discusses the effect of student mastery of concepts and motivation by the holding of video making assignments to student in highschool. This is motivated because the current study are faced with various challenges and problems. Among the problems is the development of technology and the use of instructional media. Media such as video are commonly used in the lessons learned by the teacher from the web or school. Thus, this study attempted to give assignments to the students to make a video on the material motion systems using lecture method combined with the assignment on learning. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not increasing mastery of concepts and motivation in the concept of the mechanism of muscle movement by giving students the opportunity to further hone their ability in making tasks such as video using the assignment method. The type of research experiments is quasy experimental with a quantitative method where where this research uses many figures, data collection, interpretation, and the appearance of the results. This study sampled at SMAN 6 Bandung. The data collection technique using a test mastery of concepts and student motivation questionnaire. The conclusion of this study is to increase students' mastery of concepts and motivation in class who was given the task to make videos and classes that are only viewed video of the teacher could say the same.
