Abstract
Masalah pada penelitian ini ialah penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran penjas tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana implementasi pembelajaran PBL terhadap peningkatan penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar renang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desain dengan membagi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi yang diteliti adalah seluruh siswa SMAN 18 Bandung, sampel diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 32 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan analisis data pembelajaran PBL telah meningkatkan kemampuan berenang secara bermakna, peningkatan penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar renang pada kelas kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. ; ---- Problem in this research is the implementation of Problem Based Learning in sport education is aimed to determine how far the implementation of Problem Based Learning affects the improvement of mastery of swimming basic motor skill. Experimental method is used in this reseach. The design used for this research was Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design by dividing the students into two groups, the experimental group and the control group. Population studied was 18 Senior High School’s students. The sample was obtained by using Purposive Sampling technique, by taking 32 students. Based on the calculation and the data analysis about PBL shows that PBL has improved the swimming ability meaningfully, the improvement of mastery of swimming basic motor skill in experimental group is better than control group.
