    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon dilihat dari nilai rata-rata Ujian Nasional Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 dan 2015/2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan survey explanatory, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket. Populasi dari penelitian ini sebanyak 2089. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik two stage random sampling, yaitu purposive random sampling dan quota sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 262 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis path. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (i) kompetensi guru dan disiplin belajar berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. (ii)kompetensi guru dan disiplin belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon.----------This research was motivated by lower results for students at SMA as the city of Cilegon seen from the average value of National Exam Academic Year 2014/2015 and 2015/2016. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of teacher competence and discipline of learning on student learning outcomes on economic subjects. This research method uses explanatory survey, using the techniques of data collection in the form of a questionnaire. The population of this study were 2089. The sampling using two stage random sampling technique, which was purposive random sampling and quota sampling with a total sample of 262 students. Data analysis technique used was path analysis. The results of this study indicate (i) the competence of teachers and discipline of study that were in very high category. (ii) the competence of teachers and learning discipline positive effect on student learning outcomes on economic subjects in SMA as the city of Cilegon.
