Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini ditandai adanya rasa ingin tahu lebih mendalam terhadap proses belajar di Kelompok Petualang Belajar Semi Palar atau sama dengan kelas X pada tingkat SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik untuk menggali dan merefleksikan pengalamannya sebagai proses belajar. Selain itu , penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui penerapan model Experiential Learning pada pembelajaran geografi ditinjau dari gaya belajar peserta didik untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses belajar. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang berbentuk penelitian studi kasus. Digunakannya pendidikan kualitatif karena dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan terhadap aktivitas sejumlah kelompok manusia yang sedang berlangsung dalam proses kegiatan pendidikan. Metode studi kasus digunakan agar penelitian terfokus pada satu fenomena yang ingin dikaji dan ingin dipahami secara mendalam. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui empat langkah : tahap pra lapangan, tahap lapangan, tahap analisis data, dan tahap pelaporan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian diketahui bahwa guru atau fasilitator telah berhasil menerapkan model pembelajaran experiential learning pada aktivitas guru / fasilitator dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran, pada aktivitas peserta didik juga terjadi penerapan model pembelajaran experiential learning baik pada tahap observasi tentang belajar dari pengalaman dalam pengembangan keterampilan dan merefleksikan proses pembelajaran.;---The background of this study indicated their curiosity more depth to the learning process in the Explorers Study Group Semi Palar or equal to X class at the high school level. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation in developing the skills of learners to explore and reflect on his experience as a learning process. In addition, this study also want to know the implementation model of Experiential Learning in terms of geography learning styles of learners to be able to improve learning outcomes and skills learning process. In this research approach used is a qualitative approach with case study. The use of qualitative education because in this study, conducted on the activities of a number of ongoing human groups in the process of educational activities. The case study method is used so that the study focused on a phenomenon which is to be examined and to be understood in depth. The research was conducted through four steps: pre-stage pitch, the pitch stage, the stage of data analysis, and reporting stage. Based on the findings note that the teacher or facilitator has been successfully applying the learning model of experiential learning on the activity of the teacher / facilitator in planning, implementation and evaluation of learning, the activity of learners is also an increase both in the observation phase of learning from experience in the development of skills and reflect on the process learning.
