Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah permainan tradisional memberikan pengaruh terhadap nilai-nilai sosial di SMAN 1 Kuningan. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya masalah sosial terhadap siswa yang menarik untuk dibahas. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Design yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Desig. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMAN 1 Kuningan yang berjumlah 302 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang dengan teknik pengambilan random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket/koesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Z-hitung 6,45 > 1,96 Z-tabel, maka Ho ditolak. Simpulannya bahwa permainan tradisional berpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai-nilai sosial siswa SMAN 1 Kunungan. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa permainan tradisional memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai-nilai sosial siswa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya permainan tradisional dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, hal ini dikarenakan permainan tradisional memiliki nilai luhur dan pesan moral yang dapat membangun karakter siswa.;---This research aims at discovering whether traditional games influence social values in SMAN 1 Kuningan. This research was conducted because there is a student’s social problem that is interesting to be investigated. The method employed in this research was experimental research. The research design used in this research was One Group Pretest-Post test Design. The population involved in this research was the students of SMAN 1 Kuningan which consist of 302 people. The sample involved in this research consists of 30 people, in which this sample was selected by using random sampling. In relation to research instrument, this research used questionnaire. The result of this research showed that Z-score 6.45 > 1.96 Z-table, thus it indicates that Ho was rejected. Based on this result, it can be inferred that traditional games have a significant influence toward social values of SMAN 1 Kuningan’s students. The implication that can be assumed from this research is traditional games have significant effects on students’ social values. Thus, it is recommended that traditional games can be implemented during the learning process of physical education since traditional games have noble and moral values that can develop students’ characters.
