Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, bahwa motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X IPS MA Al-Imaroh Bekasi masih tergolong rendah. hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme peserta didik yang nampak bosan serta mengantuk pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, Serta ketidak aktifan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Karena itu diperlukan solusi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar adalah model ASSURE (Analyze learner characteristic, State objectives, Select methods- media- and materials, Utilize materials, Requires learner participation, Evaluate and revise). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengaplikasikan model pembelajaran ASSURE, dan 2) Meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari satu siklus dengan tiga tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS MA Al-Imaroh Bekasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran ASSURE dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) penerapan model pembelajaran ASSURE dilaksanakan dengan enam tahapan yaitu;Analyze learner characteristic, State objectives, Select methods- media- and materials, Utilize materials, Requires learner participation, Evaluate and revise. 2) Penerapan model ASSURE dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada materi mengenal bumi pada tindakan pertama sebesar 63%, tindakan kedua menjadi 80,3%, dan pada tindakan ketiga mencapai 89,7%. ;--- Based on the results of preliminary observation sin X class of IPS MA Al-Imaroh Bekasi on the subjects of geography showed the enthusiasm of students who looks bored, sleepy and inactive during the learning process. Based on the indicators the low of learning motivation whichis quickly bored, origin in the following study, the low of curiousity, and low learning outcomes. So we can say that the motivation of learners X class of IPS MA AL-Imaroh has a low learning motivation. Because it needed a solution to increase the motivation in learning. One of the learningmodel that can be used to enhance learning motivation is ASSURE models. This study aims to: 1) apply ASSURE learning model, and 2) Increase the motivation of learners. This study uses classroom action research that consisted of one cycle with three actions. The subjects were students of X classIPS MA Al-Imaroh Bekasi. The object of this study is a model ASSURE learning and learningmotivation. The instruments used were observation sheet, tests, assignments and questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) the application of ASSURE learning model implemented with six stages, namely;Analyze learner characteristic, State objectives, Select methods- media- and materials, Utilize materials, Requires learner participation, Evaluate and revise. 2) ASSURE model application can increase the motivation of learners on the material to knowing about the earth. In the first action by 63%, the second action be 80.3%, and in the third action reached 89.7%.
