Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendekatan problem based learning dalam pembelajaran kimia pada konteks penanganan memar dan nyeri otot. Konsep kimia yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah proses endoterm dan proses eksoterm. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya adalah one group pretest posttest design dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas XII IPA yang berjumlah 26 orang di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Bandung yang telah menerapkan Kurikulum 2013. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah format penilaian perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar penilaian LKS, lembar penilaian observasi sikap dan keterampilan, serta butir soal. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan PBL tipe Tan dilihat dari kinerja guru yaitu dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dilihat dari kinerja siswa pada pendekatan PBL tipe Tan fase-1 dan 2 tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik, fase-3 dan 4 termasuk dalam kategori baik, dan fase-5 tergolong dalam kategori kurang. Hasil belajar siswa pada aspek sikap berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92, dan keterampilan berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 79, dan berdasarkan uji statistik menggunakan SPSS versi 16 penguasaan konsep meningkat secara signifikan dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain pada kategori sedang (nilai N-gain = 0,58).;--- This study aims to determine the implementation of problem-based learning in the learning of chemistry in the context of the handling of bruises and sore muscles. This study used chemistry concepts about endotherm process and exotherm process. The research method was pra-experiment quantitative descriptive, research design was one group pretest posttest design and qualitative descriptive method. The subjects were students of XII Science with 26 people in total who from one of high school in Bandung which has implemented Curriculum of 2013. The research instrument is used the assessment format of planning and implementation of learning, assesment student’s worksheets, assessment sheets of student attitudes and skills. From the results showed that learning implementation of PBL approach type Tan seen the teacher performance in planning and implementing learning classified in the very well category. Learning implementation from the student's performance in the PBL approach type Tan phase-1 and 2 classified in the very well category, phase-3 and 4 are included in well categories, and the phase-5 classified in the lack category. The results of students attitudes aspects showed in the very good category with an average value of 92, and the skills are in good categories with an average value of 79, and based on statistical tests using SPSS version 16, mastery of concept increased significantly with the mean N-gain in the medium category (N-gain grades = 0.58).
