Abstract
Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan sebuah inovasi dalam pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru, salah satunya pengembangan modul model berbasis masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui layak atau tidaknya modul yang dibuat untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis, dan mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa melalui modul tersebut. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) mengacu pada model Dick - Carey yaitu studi pendahuluan, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evalausi dan revisi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) modul diberikan kepada para ahli materi maupun ahli media pembelajaran dan dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan dalam penelitian, 2) penggunaan modul untuk siswa melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis ; ---- The main Problem in this research is the low of students ability in writing the exposition text. Hence it is need an innovation in learning that is conducted by teachers, one being the development of model-based module problem. The purpose of this research is to know the worth or whether a module is created to use for in the Indonesia language learning to students in class of X SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis, and to know the increase in writing ability students Exposition text through the module. The design wich used in this reseach using a Research and Development (R&D) refers to the model of the Dick-Carey i.e. study introduction, stage design, stage of development, and phase evalausi and revision. The population of this research is the entire learners class X SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis
