Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran diskoveri berbasis kecerdasan interpersonal dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi pada siswa kelas X SMA PGRI Pekanbaru tahun pembelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA PGRI Pekanbaru yang terdiri atas tujuh kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara menentukan satu kelas eksperimen diwakili kelas XIIS.1 dan satu kelas kontrol diwakili kelas XIIS.2, masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain The Matching-Only-Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes unjuk kerja. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dan datanya dianalisis, maka didapat nilai berdasarkan tabel out-put SPSS uji Mann-Whitney, diketahui nilai Asymp. sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < α = 0,05. Artinya, H0 ditolak. Atau dengan kata lain H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi yang signifikan antara siswa di kelas eksperimen siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penemuan penelitian, penerapan model pembelajaran diskoveri berbasis kecerdasan interpersonal lebih efektif dari model terlangsung. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran diskoveri berbasis kecerdasan interpersonal dapat dijadikan arternatif model bagi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. ; ---- This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of discovery learning method implementationof interpersonal intelligence based in writing text exposition in class X SMA PGRI Pekanbaruschool year 2015/2016. The population of the study was all students of class X SMA PGRI Pekanbaru which consists of seven classes. Sampling was conducted by determining the class X.IIS.1 represented as an experimental class and class X.IIS.2 represented as the controlled class.Each class consists of 30 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method using quantitative approach. The study used the Matching-Only-Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data was collected through document analysis, observations, and tests performance. After conducting the research and the data were analyzed, then the value obtained by the table out-put SPSS Mann-Whitney test, known Asymp sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <α = 0.05. That is, H0 is rejected, and in other words H1 is accepted. Therefore, there are significant differences in the ability to write text exposition between students in the experimental class and students in the controlled class. Based on the research findings,discovery learning method implementation of interpersonal intelligencebased is more effective than conventionalmodel. It shows that the discovery learning method of interpersonal intelligencebasedis able to be conducted as an alternative model for teachers to implement writing text exposition.
