Abstract
Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis bagi siswa berperan sebagai bekal dasar yang baik untuk mencapai kemampuan dasar lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart mengenai penerapan model quantum teaching dengan kerangka pembelajaran TANDUR untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran tentang proses pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model quantum teaching; (2) memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah menerapkan model quantum teaching. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV disalah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 36 orang, dimana siswa kelas IV tersebut memiliki pemahaman konsep matematis yang rendah. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan, tes individu, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perkembangan pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dibuktikan dengan keterlaksanaan RPP meningkat dari 88.09% di siklus I, menjadi 100% di siklus II. Kemudian, pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang dibuktikan dari hasil tes mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor siswa hanya mencapai 61.07 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 76.67. Adapun dari indeks gain siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa juga terlihat dari ketuntasan belajar siswa dimana pada siklus I hanya mencapai 39.29% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 92.86%. Sehingga berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model quantum teaching merupakan model yang cocok digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.;---Mathematical concept comprehension skill is a good foundation for achieving other basic skills of students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with a Kemis model and Mc.Taggart model about application of quantum teaching model with TANDUR framework for improving Mathematical concept of students. This study aims to (1) Obtain an illustration of the Mathematics process by applying quantum teaching model; (2) Obtain an illustration about improvisation on Mathematical concept comprehension of students after applying quantum teaching model. The study was conducted to 36 students of fourth grade in an elementary school in Bandung, which have a deep Mathematical concept comprehension. Data in this research was collected through observation, individual test and documentation. The result showed that there was an improvisation in learning process, proved by finished RPP increased from 88.09% in first cycle to 100% in the second cycle. The results of the test showed that Students Mathematical concept comprehension in second cycle is higher than the first cycle. Average score of student in first cycle reached 61.07 which increased into 76.67 in second cycle. Gain index also increased in the fist cycle into second cycle. The improved Mathematical concept comprehension of students is also proved by that the completeness of student learning in the first cycle only reached 39.29% increased into 92.86% in second cycle. So, it can be concluded that quantum teaching model is a good model to improving students Mathematical concept comprehension.
