Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaaan pembelajaran, dan hasil peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak dan berbicara melalui pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode cooperative script. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengadaptasi model dari Kemmis dan Taggart menggunakan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas III disalah satu SDN yang bertempat di Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung dengan fokus penelitian sebanyak 14 siswa. Nilai KKM bahasa Indonesia yang diterapkan di sekolah dasar tersebut yaitu 65. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah menghitung skor peserta didik tiap siklus, skor rata-rata kelas, dan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode cooperative script ini telah melatih kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak dan berbicara sehingga siswa dapat mengidentifikasi ide pokok yang terdapat dalam cerita tersebut, dapat menuliskan ringkasan isi cerita dan dapat menceritakan kembali cerita di depan kelas. (2) Hasil peningkatan kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa pada setiap siklusnya juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan presentase ketuntasan kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa pada siklus I sebesar 42,8%, pada siklus II sebesar 85,7%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 92,8% yang artinya peningkatan kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa dikategori tinggi.;---This research motivated by how low ability students in listening and speaking from the third class of elementary school. The purpose of this research are to describe the act of learning, and the result of raising the students ability in listening and speaking by cooperative script method. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) by adapting model from Kemmis and Taggart utilized three cycles. The subjects are the educated participant from the third class from one of elementary school (SDN) which located at Kecamatan Sukasari in Bandung city who focused on 14 students. The value of Minimum Ability Criteria (MAC) for Indonesian language in elementary school is 65. The preparation technique used from counting students score each cycles, the average score, and completeness students task. The conclussion that the research is (1) Planning students education by applying cooperative script method already train the students ability in listening and speaking from book until they can identify the main idea who exist in the story. Be able to writing the summary and be able to retell the story in front of the classroom. (2) The result of students ability in listening and speaking each cycles also raising with completeness percentage which occupied at 42,8%, on second cycle at 85,7%, and on the third cycle are at 92,8% which mean the students ability in listening and speaking are in high categorized.
