Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi penggunaan model pembelajaran untuk membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif. Menggunakan model pembelajaran membuat siswa menjadi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan oleh guru. Tujuannya ingin mengetahui efetivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa kelas IV di sekolah alam Cikeas. Adapun aspek dari keterampilan proses itu sendiri yaitu keterampilan proses mengamati, keterampilan proses mengklasifikasikan dan keterampilan proses mengkomunikasikan. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metod kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group time series desaign. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes objektif sejumlah 10 soal yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan proses mengamati, keterampilan proses mengklasifikasikan dan keterampilan proses mengkomunikasikan. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah alam Cikeas. Sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan random sampling, yaitu kelas IV Aquila. Teknik analis data menggunakan uji normalitas One Sample Kolmogorov Smirmov serta perhitungannya mengunakan uji-t dependen untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil dari uji hipotesis umum diperoleh nilai sebesar thitung = 15,270 > ttabel = 1,697 dan hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses siswa antara sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi IPA kelas IV di sekolah alam Cikeas. Bedasarkan uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan secara umum, bahwa model pembelajaran inkuri efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa di sekolah alam Cikeas.;---This study background towards the use of inquiry learning model in making learning process more interactive. Using this learning model enhance students to be more active in the learning process that was taught by teachers. The goal of this study is to investigate effectiveness of the use of inquiry learning model in improving students’ skill process. The aspects covered from the skill process are observing, classifying, and communicating the skill process. The method used by the researchers is the method of quasi-experiment research with design of one group time series designs. The instrument of this study uses the objective test with the number 10 questions used to measure the skills of observing, classifying, and communicating problem skill. The population of this study is fourth grade students of Cikeas Natural School. Samples were taken based on random sampling, which is grade IV of Aquila. Data analysis technique used in this study is One Sample Kolmogorov Smirmov, with the use of independent t-test to test the hypothesis. Result of general hypothesis shows the value of tcount = 15, 270 > ttable = 1,697 which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There are differences in students' process skills before and after the use of inquiry learning model system in class IV of Cikeas Natural Science. Based on the hypothesis can be up in general, the inquiry learning model can be used effectively to improve the skills of the students in the cikeas natural school.
