Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang keterlaksanaan strategi pembelajaran intertekstual dengan POGIL pada konsep tingkat kejenuhan larutan serta mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pre eksperimen dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung sebanyak 37 orang. Implementasi strategi pembelajaran intertekstual pada konsep tingkat kejenuhan larutan ini mencakup kegiatan pembelajaran dan kendala-kendala yang dialami selama proses pembelajaran, tanggapan siswa dan guru, serta pengaruhnya terhadap penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara menghubungkan ketiga level representasi kimia yaitu; makroskopis, submikroskopis dan simbolis untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam memahami tingkat kejenuhan larutan. Kendala-kendala yang muncul, yaitu alokasi waktu yang diperlukan untuk mempelajari larutan belum jenuh dan jenuh terlalu lama, jumlah soal dalam LKS yang digunakan terlalu banyak, kondisi sekolah yang tidak kondusif untuk dilakukan pembelajaran, dan waktu pelaksanaan implementasi strategi intertekstual berada di akhir KBM. Secara umum baik siswa maupun guru memberikan taggapan baik terhadap pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis angket tanggapan siswa dan format observasi yang dilakukan oleh guru. Pengaruh implementasi terhadap penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa diperoleh dari hasil analisis jawaban pretest dan posttest yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada semua kelompok siswa.;---This study aims to obtain information about the enforceability of intertextual learning strategy with POGIL on the concept of solution saturation level and determine its effect on mastery of concepts and science process skills of students. In this research, pre-experimental method which was one group pretest-posttest design was implemented. Subjects in this study were 37 students of class XI in one of the public senior high school in Bandung city. Implementation of the intertextual learning strategy on the concept of solution saturation level include learning activities and constraints experienced during the learning process, student and teacher responses, and the effect of mastery of concepts and science process skills of students. Learning activities conducted by third levels of chemical representation (macroscopic, sub-microscopic and symbolic) to be able to understand the whole concept of solution saturation level. The constraints that emerge, are allocation of time required to study unsaturated and saturated solution too long, the amount of matter in LKS are used too much, the school conditions are not conducive to learning, and the time of execution of the implementation intertextual learning strategy are at the end of KBM. In general, both student and teacher give a good responded for the learning which obtained from the analysis of the questionnaire responses of students and format of the observation made by the teacher. The effect of implementation of the concept and the mastery of science process skills of students obtained from the analysis of pretest and posttest answers that showed an increase in all groups of students.
