Abstract

Berdasarkan tuntutan kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran biologi salah satu karakter bangsa yang diharapkan adalah kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang meliputi pemecahan masalah, pengambilan keputusan, berpikir kritis, dan berpikir kreatif. Untuk merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara lain dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan atau mengikutsertakan siswa aktif dalam setiap proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS (Search-Solve-Create-Share) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa MA pada materi ekosistem; 2) Memperoleh informasi mengenai respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran SSCS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode weak eksperimen desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MA As-sa’adah Sukasari dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama berupa pemberian pretest dan Penerapan model pembelajaran fase search, fase solve, dan create. Tahap kedua yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran pada fase share berikut pemberian postest. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi ekosistem dan angket tanggapan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS pada materi ekosistem dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Madrasah Aliyah As-sa’adah Sukasari dengan pencapaian peningkatan kategori sedang; 2) Umumnya siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran SSCS pada materi ekosistem.;---Based on demands of the curriculum 2013 in the subjects biology one expected national character is a high-order thinking skills which include problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and creative thinking. One way to stimulate students' critical thinking skills is to use a model learning that can be develop or engage students active in every learning process.. The purposes of this study are : 1) To identified influence application model SSCS (Share, Solve, Create, Share) to concept ecosystem; 2) To know information about the students’ respons toward model SSCS. This study using weak experiment method One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with employed quantitative approach. The population of this study is all of X B grade students of MA As-sa’adah Sukasari with technical purposive sampling. This study was carried out in two stages; the first stage was the pretest critical thinking and application model learning from phase search, solve and create. The second stage is the application of model learning from phase share and the postest critical thinking. The instruments used in this study are the critical thinking test to concept ecosystem and scale attitude. The result and discussion of the study conclude that 1) Application model SSCS from concept ecosystem can be increase critical thinking student of MA As-sa’adah Sukasari was showing increase average; 2) In general student choose a response positive to the application model SSCS from concept ecosystem.
